In the forefront of learning design and course delivery to the federal government since 2003, Edgesource is a critical partner to the Department of State and US federal agencies on information assurance (IA)and cybersecurity training. Edgesource has developed and supported distance-learning systems used throughout the federal government. Our services range from analyzing and selecting distance learning products and platforms, to system customization, and ongoing technical support. We have extensive experience in the instructional design and development (ISD) of curriculum and coursework using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) model.

In support of training at the Diplomatic Security Training Center, course content is designed, developed and delivered in accordance with Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETA) accreditation standards. This content enables information technology security practitioners to meet Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) of 2014 requirements using the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) Special Publications guidelines. Systems we have provided support for include the Foreign Service Institute’s LearnCenter, the Joint Security Awareness Solution, and the Cybersecurity Online Learning; all of which are managed by the US Department of State and available to all federal organizations.

Designated as a “Center of Excellence” by the Department of Homeland Security, our learning curriculum and practitioners focus on topics such as Network Security Monitoring, Identifying and Mitigating Technical Vulnerabilities, Cyber Range Development, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Geotagging, Cyber Warfare and Securing Mobile Devices.
