THE BLUE LIST IS EXPANDING
DCMA has taken over management of the Blue List, and the list of products requiring Blue List assessment will likely grow. If your commercial product is not on the list, you may not be able to sell to the US government.The Blue List process is all about protecting the US supply chain from being compromised by components and software from covered countries. If your supply chain is exposed to these countries, then your product may be ineligible for purchase. Start early to avoid a costly redesign.
WHAT IS THE BLUE LIST?
Blue List is DCMA’s pathway to field trusted commercial hardware across the US Government. The program maintains a Cleared List of hardware platforms and components vetted by Recognized Assessors for compliance with law and policy, plus a Select tier that spotlights high-priority, mission-aligned systems.

Independent and objective assessments are the key to keeping the Blue List secure, but they don’t have to be confrontational. We work with you to help you understand the NDAA requirements, the Assessment process, and the results of our analysis. Our goal is to help protect national security by getting new products onto the Blue List, not simply to write an assessment report and collect a fee.
