Dustin Smithers provides leadership and technical innovation to direct Newbrook’s corporate strategy. Newbrook was founded with the mission to bring unparalleled solutions to Federal IT through the intelligent and appropriate use of information technology.

Dustin has pursued this goal for nearly 20 years as a Software and Systems Architect working for various IC agencies successfully implementing mission systems for the enterprise. Based on the belief that mission success depends on high functioning individuals Dustin has committed Newbrook to create an environment and provide the tools necessary to build highly productive teams.



Newbrook Executive Vice President

Matthew Kubal is a company founder and executive vice president. Matthew focuses on aligning customer needs with appropriate technologies leveraging over fifteen years of software engineering experience. His ability to provide creative problem solving to address the challenges of successful IT implementations in the IC enables customer mission success. Under Matthew’s leadership, Newbrook has achieved an excellent retention rate among highly sought after technical staff cleared at the TS/SCI level.



Newbrook Executive Vice President

Justin Burtch is a recognized software architect with a nearly 20-year track record of designing and delivering successful government software projects. Those projects have included the creation of expert systems to enforce complex bureaucratic rule sets and the modernization of mission software to support the ever-changing world of counterterrorism. As an Executive Vice President and cofounder of Newbrook Solutions, Justin enjoys building innovative engineering teams who share the same passion for solving complex problems and delivering customer delight. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer working his way across the US playing the top courses in the country.
